The Africa Business Platform is an African owned company whose sole focus is to promote and connect African opportunities to international markets.
ABP was founded in 2019 using thirty years of African business experience. Headquartered in Johannesburg, ABP work with partners on ground in West, Central, Southern and East Africa to connect opportunities to interested parties in the UK, USA and EMEA.
ABP work with project companies, private companies, governments and promote opportunities to internationally interested parties being private equity firms, service providers, contractors, development finance institutions and entrepreneurs.
ABP’s mission is to raise awareness of business opportunities across the African continent to help create a better Africa. ABP’s role is to improve the transparency and ease of doing business in a continent that has often been criticized for its lack thereof.
The Covid-19 pandemic has significantly impacted international markets and particularly Africa. Covid has resulted in a halt in funding, project cancellations and widespread job losses across the continent. Covid has devastated African economies and severely disrupted international investment.
